Save on materials and costs with the Vertical ReMaster
Make endless searching, scratched panes and difficult handling things of the past! The Vertical ReMaster keeps hold of your reusable remnants until an opportunity for reuse arises in a subsequent order, thus reducing waste. This saves on valuable resources, improves your processes, and helps you to maintain high levels of quality for your glass products. On command from the cutting system, the optimisation system or the production control system, the glass is then automatically removed from the protective storage system and fed back onto the cutting table without any manual handling.

Features
- Automatic remnant handling for reusable leftovers and remnant of float and laminated glass
- Vertical interim pane storage within easy reach of the cutting system
- Improved waste optimisation options thanks to efficient, system-controlled remnant handling
- Automated processes protect glass during handling
- No more time wasted searching for remants
- Glass type and dimensions saved in the glass storage management system
- Open interface for optimisation software
- Flexible, optimised integration of offcuts into production planning
- Storage system issues warnings when storage time exceeded, e.g. for coated glass types
- Suitable for full integration into HEGLA cutting lines
Functional description
The Vertical ReMaster’s remnant storage system is positioned close to the cutting system, and is connected to the cutting station via a vertical transport route.
Once the operator has broken the float glass in accordance with the cutting plan, the remnant is placed in a transfer position on the transport section, then automatically transported to the storage system and stored there.
As soon as a “waste” pane in the Vertical ReMaster can be put to use, the gentle grippers remove it from the storage system and place it on a conveyor belt, which transports it to the cutting table for further cutting in time with the cycle.
