Compact Loader
Its compact design, low overall depth and the cycle-optimised access it offers to the compartments of the integrated compact warehouse make the fully automatic Compact Loader the ideal solution for cramped storage areas and low halls. When it is combined with one or even more additional compact warehouses, the storage volume and the variety of types can be expanded and thus adapted to suit almost any requirement. The Compact Loader is designed as a stand-alone full gantry that can be used under almost any spatial conditions and reliably supplies up to two cutting lines with glass.

Features
- Fully automatic glass loading for up to two cutting lines
- Space-saving thanks to low overall depth and compact design
- Perfect for cramped storage areas and low halls
- Designed for a wide variety of types and larger storage volumes
- Maintains glass quality and high level of safety thanks to HEGLA's established peeling technology, which separates the panes from the bottom of the stack slightly before lifting
- Glass is always fed through, i.e. the suction frame dips into the loading table and set the glass down with the coated side facing upwards
- Inclination and stroke of suction frame set automatically
- Fully networkable and automatable with HEGLA cutting systems and automatic compact warehouses
- Can be integrated in and adapted to suit many cutting systems
Functional description
When requested by the cutting system, the production control system or a manual command from the operator, a gap is opened between the moving, closely spaced compartments of the compact warehouse. The Compact Loader and its suction cup frame move into the warehouse. The suction cups latch onto the pane and, using HEGLA’s established peeling technique for surface protection and safe glass removal, separate it slightly from the underside of the subsequent sheets. The pane is then lifted, transported through the compact warehouse and, timed to precise cycles, transferred to a tilting support table with a connection to the cutting system. The glass transfer always uses a “combing” principle, i.e. the suction cup frame is lowered into the support table and sets the glass down with the coated side facing upwards.
With an optional rotating suction cup frame, the glass sheet can also be removed from A/L racks or a Rapidstore.
