Composite line consisting of ProLam and AdvaLam
The fully networked AdvaLam and ProLam composite line brings together two high-performance cutting systems for LSG. The two systems feature first-class cutting quality, precision, high productivity, and automation. The composite line allows them to demonstrate their strengths as a high-volume, industrial, automated cutting solution.
Networked, high-performance cutting for laminated glass
The upstream AdvaLam with fully automated workflows functions in fast cycles without an operator. First, the raw glass is decoated and given a laser marking, for example. Next, the X-sheets are automatically cut by the AdvaLam and the system transports them to the ProLam. The ProLam carries out the downstream Y and Z-cuts of the laminated glass in quick succession. For even higher cutting performance, the AdvaLam can be equipped with the optional X/Y mode. The fully automated cutting system takes on the cutting tasks from the ProLam, thus increasing the throughput for cutting safety glass.

Functional description
The glass is transported into the AdvaLam, edge-decoated, and given a laser marking if required. The X-sheet cutting process is fully automated. Depending on how the line is configured, the AdvaLam can also take on the Y-cuts of the ProLam in X/Y mode in order to increase throughput. The system automatically transports the laminated glass to the ProLam, either via a straight-line layout with a rotating beam, or using a corner combination. On the ProLam, the remaining Y and Z-cuts are carried out using partially automated processes and, in some cases, with the aid of an operator to ensure fast cycles.
