ProLam Neo – Fully automated, high-performance cutting system for laminated safety glass
The new modular ProLam Neo LSR has been specially developed for the high volume and quality requirements of SMEs and the glass industry. Automated LSG cutting in autonomous cycles
New thinking, proven experience: the revised processes of the ProLam Neo are interlinked, systematically coordinated, and offer perfect flexibility for high-throughput glass cutting. The compressed cycle time makes the cutting system a reliable solution for automated LSG cutting with industrial volume requirements. Whether used in sheet mode or for X, Y or Z cutting – high automation is at the heart of the ProLam Neo and ensures consistent productivity in the machine's autonomous cycle. The result is a system-controlled, uninterrupted flow of glass.
Modular application from stand-alone solutions to high-performance lines
Maximum throughput and perfect edge quality are the sustainable product performance features of the ProLam Neo LSR. Its modularity promises enhanced flexibility. Virtually anything is possible – Like expanding an existing float system to make a combined system for flat glass cutting, for example. Alternatively, a stand-alone solution can be converted into a high-performance line with two cutting bridges, ReMaster offcut storage and a system accumulator for pane buffering. The Shape function for shape scoring, a system breakout bar for float glass, laser marking, and many other functionalities can easily be retrofitted. For maximum workflow efficiency, an online connection to the SortJet sorting system or automatic transfer to harp racks is possible. The edge quality also ensures the best impression: equipped with LSR laser diode heating, the heating energy is applied to the scoring contour quickly and precisely, systematically preventing the risk of subsequent delamination.
Maximum variety as a combination for float glass and LSG
In addition to its technical performance, one of ProLam Neo's strengths is its modular design. As a system concept, every HEGLA cutting system can be used as a feeding table. For example, in combination with Galactic Plus, this results in maximum performance in float glass cutting with perfect accuracy: speeds of up to 300 m/min are achieved in glass scoring, underlining the high standards of the overall solution.

Functional description
Loading is carried out via a feeding table, automatic loading, or a HEGLA float cutting system.
The feeding and positioning of the glass are fully automated. The LSG is incised precisely on both sides and broken out without changing its position. Simultaneously, the LSR laser diode heater applies heat directly into the scoring contour. The surrounding glass remains cold – systematically preventing delamination. With gentle split control, the breakout contour is opened minimally and the LSG film is professionally separated. Optimised, synchronous and overlapping processes achieve short cycle times.
As part of a line solution (e.g. 2 x ProLam Neo LSR), the X, Y and Z cuts are performed automatically using the relevant processes. Balanced, intelligent cut distribution creates an autonomous glass flow in sync with the system.
