AdvaLam
The AdvaLam is a fully automated LSG cutting system – the perfect choice for high-volume industrial production or for feeding glass sheets to downstream production lines. Transportation, positioning, cutting, separation and even the disposal of leftover strips are controlled by the system itself with zero operator input required. The AdvaLam’s strengths truly come to the fore when it is used as part of a composite line (e.g. together with a ProLam unit): the X-sheets are then decoated and cut to size completely automatically, and the downstream system is also automatically prepared in quick succession.
Description of function
The AdvaLam is loaded using automatic loading systems. The glass is positioned precisely by a double gripper system. The laminated glass is scored on both sides, broken and separated cleanly without altering its position. The cut sheets are automatically transported downstream. Leftover pieces are automatically drawn back onto the table, while good panes are lined up for further cutting to size. If subsequent Y-cutting is required, the sheet turning system is used to move the glass to the required position.
