Optimax - Glass Cutting Machine
The fully automated glass cutting machine in the Optimax series are designed for industrial-scale cutting of coated and non-coated float glass. With its CNC-controlled servo motors, the cutting bridge can reach high speeds that are always optimised for the cutting contour at hand. The special bridge guides ensure that the same high-precision cut quality is maintained at all times. Thanks to their short throughput times, the Optimax and Optimax Plus are perfect for unmanned operation in both simple and complex line solutions, e.g. in conjunction with a ReMaster system.

- Controlled using full-graphic software package with shape and model catalogue (import function for cutting diagrams)
- Automatic cutting speed adjustment
Functional description
This unit is equipped with an automatic glass loading system to allow high cycle times. Conveyor belts automatically carry the raw glass onto the Optimax and align it. System-controlled edge decoating (optional) is used for coated glass. The glass is scored according to the exact specifications of the cutting diagram. In order to make this possible, the cutting bridge is driven by the CNC-controlled linear drives to allow both high speeds and accurate results.
The software allows you to draw up your cutting diagram either on a PC or the system itself. The glass can be separated using an automatic crossbeam break system or a manual break table in the X and Y directions when it is unloaded from the cutting table.
