Glass cutting table Rapidcut KT
High precision, a well-balanced level of automation and its compact design make the Rapidcut KT the perfect stand-alone glass cutting table for any application that involves cutting shapes or straight lines in flat glass. The low-maintenance linear drives are sure to impress, acting in perfect harmony with the cutting technology to produce precise scoring results.
Stand-alone glass cutting table with integrated tilting support table
Equipped with the integrated tilting support table, the glass cutting table is also extremely user friendly when it comes to loading. The uncut glass is positioned on the almost vertical table and gently lowered. To ensure that the high precision and performance of the compact system is maintained over the years, only the support table of Rapidcut KT is tilted and not the cutting bridge. The glass cutting table remains in the fixed, vibration-free park position and is not influenced by the electromechanical tilting movement. This solution ensures precise cutting results and the long service life of the technology. Both the fully graphical software with its shape catalogue and the sensor recognition, which detects the glass position and adjusts the cutting plan accordingly, are also user friendly. Additional manual alignment is not required.
Features
- Stand-alone cutting table with well-balanced automation for model and straight-line cutting of float and ornament glass
- Intuitive software package with shape catalogue and import function for cutting diagrams
- Fitted with X/Y break bars as standard Built-in tilting table for user-friendly glass loading
- Electro-mechanical tilt drive for smooth movement that prevents damage to the material
- Cutting bridge remains in rest position during loading to protect it from vibrations and ensure that its precision is not impaired
- Powerful air cushions for user-friendly glass alignment
Description of function
The glass is placed on the Rapidcut KT support table using a suction unit or similar device, then lowered to a horizontal working position. While this is happening, the cutting bridge is kept in its park position without being tilted in order to protect it from vibrations and ensure that its precision is not impaired.
The sensor detection system determines the exact position of the glass. The cutting procedure is fully automatic, and is controlled using intuitive software with a built-in shape catalogue.
The table has four built-in break bars to separate the glass pieces.
